How did we work with Altana?
Through our fund-of-funds programme, we indirectly invested in Altana, which is now a unicorn, and funded a series of work programmes aimed at testing and trialling Altana’s capabilities for potential application within the UK Government.
What was the impact?
The work programme delivered substantial time savings in mapping global supply chains while providing deeper insights than previously achievable. As a result of the funding we provided to Altana, the capability was directly procured by the Department for Business and Trade’s Global Supply Chains Intelligence Programme (GSCIP).
At this point, GSCIP is providing the UK with world-leading AI/Machine learning capability in supply chain mapping.
