Duality Technologies has begun the next phase of its commercial growth, moving its advanced privacy‑preserving data collaboration technology into production with national security and defence customers. As part of this momentum, NSSIF has made a strategic investment in Duality, reflecting confidence in the company’s technology, team and long‑term potential.

NSSIF is backing Greenjets as part of our growing portfolio, reflecting the company’s strategic importance to the UK’s national security and defence ecosystem. The UK‑based aerospace technology company has announced a $40 million Series A led by Blossom Capital, with participation from NSSIF, the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF) and existing investors.

His Majesty King Charles III officially opened the UK Space and Defence Gateway at Harwell Science and Innovation Campus on 10th July 2026, marking a significant milestone for the UK’s growing space and national security ecosystem. The Gateway aligns with the principles of the Sustainable Markets Initiative’s Astra Carta, launched by His Majesty to promote a more sustainable global space sector.

NSSIF is pleased to celebrate the final close of Osney Capital’s debut fund, which has reached its £60 million hard cap. The close marks one of the largest debut seed funds in the UK and reinforces Osney’s position as the country’s first and only specialist cyber security seed fund. 

Optera, a neuromorphic sensing company delivering next‑generation space domain awareness (SDA), has raised £3 million to establish and scale its UK headquarters and engineering team. The round was led by UKI2S (managed by Future Planet Capital), with participation from NSSIF, Blackfinch Ventures, Foresight Group, and Empirical Ventures.

Archangel Lightworks has raised over £10 million in an oversubscribed Series A round to deliver high‑speed, secure, communications between space and terrestrial networks.

The UK has taken a major step toward cementing its position as a global leader in quantum technologies, with DSIT announcing up to £2 billion of investment over the next decade.
